Beat – Syndicate 4242 and SPA 1416

Beat Syndicate 4242 commenced underwriting in 2007 with capital provided by a mix of aligned and non-aligned investors. Syndicate 4242 writes short tail property, treaty reinsurance and Technology risks. 2025 stamp capacity for 4242 is £335.8m and for SPA 1416, £67.2m. The Active Underwriter is Andrew Cunningham.

Beat – Syndicate 4242 and SPA 1416

Beat Syndicate 4242 commenced underwriting in 2007 with capital provided by a mix of aligned and non-aligned investors. Convex – Syndicate 1984

Convex – Syndicate 1984 commenced underwriting on 1 April 2025 with a syndicate participation in the Group’s whole account Q/S contract. From 1 July 2025 the plan is extending to include an international account with binders and open market risk underwritten by the syndicate. The Active Underwriter is Jacqueline Wiffen. The GWP for 2026 is £294.4m.

Fidelis – Syndicate 3123

Fidelis Syndicate 3123 underwrites across multiple insurance and reinsurance classes. The Active Underwriter is Daniel O’Connell. Capacity is £581m for 2026.

Fidelis – Syndicate 2126

Fidelis Syndicate 2126 has formal permission from Lloyd’s to underwrite from 1st Jan 2026. Classes of business include Aviation and Space, Marine and Energy, Specialty Property, Political Risk and Violence, Credit, Cyber, A&H, Specialty RI and Fidelis RI. The Active Underwriter is Peter Welton. Capacity for 2026 is £180m.

Flux – Syndicate 1985

Flux Syndicate 1985 has a stamp capacity of £250m for 2025. The Active Underwriter is Richard Boyd.

GIC Re – Syndicate 1947

GIC Syndicate 1947 underwrites Property D&F, Property Treaty, Marine Speciality RI, PA, and Casualty, with overall GWP for 2026 of £133m. The syndicate is fully aligned being 100% supported by GIC Re. The Active Underwriter is Neil Attwood.

Hampden Risk Partners – Syndicate 2689

Hampden Risk Partners Syndicate 2689 underwrites proportional reinsurances of Lloyd’s syndicates and other insurance entities. Stamp capacity is £130m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Chris Sharp.

Ive – Syndicate 2525

Ive Syndicate 2525 underwrites Employers and Third Party Liability business. Stamp capacity is £105m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Tony Ive.

Ki – Syndicate 1618

Utilising Ki’s platform and algorithm, Syndicate 1618 is the first fully-digital, algorithmically-driven syndicate at Lloyd’s. Stamp capacity for 2026 is £730m. The Active Underwriter is Matthew Bellamy.

MCI – Syndicate 1902

MCI Syndicate 1902 underwrites three core classes of business: life science and clinical trials, medical malpractice, and commercial liability. Stamp capacity for 2026 is £143.5m.

Mosaic – Syndicate 1609

Mosaic Syndicate 1609 underwrites M&A, political risk, terrorism, environmental, professional indemnity, financial institutions, and cyber through service companies in London, the US, Bermuda, and Asia. Stamp capacity for 2026 is £204.8m. The Active Underwriter is Anna Jay.

Mosaic – Syndicate 2610

Mosaic Syndicate 2610 has formal permission from Lloyd’s to underwrite from 1st Jan 2026. The syndicate is to be completely parallel to Mosaic’s established syndicate 1609 and has the same Active Underwriter, Anna Jay. Classes of business include Transactional Liability, Political Risks, Environmental, Professional Liability, FI, Cyber and Bermuda Casualty. Capacity for 2026 is £25.6m.

MPS – Syndicate 1892

MPS Syndicate 1892 underwrites medical malpractice insurance introduced by the Medical Protection Society Group from its UK and international networks. Stamp capacity for 2026 is £22.4m. The Active Underwriter is Priya Fathers.

Santam – Syndicate 1918

Santam Syndicate 1918 has formal permission from Lloyd’s to underwrite from 1st Jan 2026. The syndicate will underwrite Q/S of Santam Group’s S. African portfolio and an open market and binder portfolio comprising Property, PI, FI, Marine, Energy and Cyber. The Active Underwriter is Simon Clapham. Capacity for 2026 is £307.5m.

Trium – Syndicate 1322

Trium Cyber Syndicate 1322 has a stamp capacity of £169.9m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Hanna Metsanvirta.

Volante – Syndicate 1699

Volante Syndicate 1699 underwrites eight classes of business across five continents. Stamp capacity for 2026 is £306m. The Active Underwriter is Roshni Lillies.

Agile Syndicate-in-a-Box 2427 has a stamp capacity of £46.5m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Mark Hunt.

Greenlight – Syndicate 3456

GRI Syndicate in a box 3456 enables Greenlight Re to provide capacity to its growing portfolio of insurtech partnerships. Stamp capacity is £51.1m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Kagobo Ngiruwonsanga.

Oka – Syndicate 1922

Oka Syndicate in a box 1922 has a stamp capacity of £7m for 2025. The Active Underwriter is Chris Slater.Oka Syndicate-in-a-Box 1922 has a stamp capacity of £7m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Sima Adhya.

Parsyl – Syndicate 1796

Parsyl Syndicate-in-a-Box 1796 has a stamp capacity of £15.8m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Ed Colclough.

Sukoon – Syndicate 2880

Sukoon Syndicate in a box 2880 supports Oman Insurance Company’s regional and international distribution by providing additional lead and follow capacity on facultative business. Capacity is £65.8m for 2026. The Active Underwriter is Sandy Warne.
